Came here on a Thursday evening for dinner and a drink. I'd say our overall experience was 3.5 stars, but we round up to 4. It was a bit confusing - we didn't realize that we ordered at the small counter on the side and then bring our number to the main beer hall area. The small food counter felt like it was only for to-go orders. Perhaps some signage when you walk into the main beer hall area would help. We ordered a few brats from the menu and some fries. Brats were larger portions that we expected and I think that even for 2 hungry people, one brat per person + a larger order of fries seems to suffice. They are definitely generous with the toppings and the fries are hefty - in face, I think that fries were probably my favorite part of the meal! They are thick cut and very crispy! The buns were probably the weakest part of the meal. It seemed to get soggy by the end of the brat. One of our sausages, the Bockwurst, was also a bit burnt. I ordered the Hungarian heat and aside from the bun disintegrating in my hands by the end, I thought that the sausage was flavorful, and had a nice subtle heat to it. We sat at the bar, and the bartenders were friendly in answering all of our questions about the beers. I loved that they had beer glasses specific to each type of beer. Will be back for drinks and a brat snack...or maybe beer and fries!

We've been here a few times, the prices went up as it has for many restaurants. However, the sausages are pretty good, they do a good kielbasa here. They also offer ample indoor and outdoor seating. I appreciate the variety of mustards on offer. A real stellar must get. Here are the fries, also, the dipping sauces that you can get are quite good. Although I wish they would offer larger sizes for the sauce. The staff is competent and friendly, a lot of them look like they just stepped off the Portland speed train. They're a selection of beer is pretty good ,,, I'm not a beer drinker, but I recognized that the labels.

Ambiance: it has a chill and relax atmosphere, long bench tables inside good for large group hangout, outdoor seating with heater and fire pit Service: you place the order at the counter, and grab the number tag and find your table and seats, you can also order the beer with bar tenders directly and you'll get it right away Food & Drink: standard Wurstküche menu for sausages and drinks, all sausage served on a roll, including your choice of two toppings from Caramelized Onions, Sauerkraut, Sweet Peppers, Spicy Peppers, and gourmet mustards of Whole Grain, Dijon, Spicy Brown, Honey Mustard, American Yellow KIELBASA - **** polish style, pork & beef, onions and spices, juicy and flavorful, recommend RATTLESNAKE & RABBIT WITH JALAPEÑO PEPPERS - *** buttery and mildly spicy, a bit dry, you can't really tell rattlesnake or rabbit flavors as all grounded meat to make the sausage, and the texture tasted like very lean chicken or turkey Belgian Fries - **** large size is good to share, tried sauces of BLEU CHEESE WALNUT & BACON, CHIPOTLE AIOLI, TZATZIKI (Greek yogurt sauce), PESTO MAYO, very crispy thick cut, recommend Duchesse Cherry - ** flanders red ale w/fresh cherries, too sour Aventinus - **** weizenbock, intense and complex, recommend Price: moderate portions and pricey drinks, expect $35 per person

-hot dogs: all great, my fave was the kielbasa, I got sauerkraut and spicy peppers on it. The other the were bratwurst (good) and Hungarian heat (ok, nothing special) -beers: all imported from Germany/Belgium/Austria, very good -fries. I would make the drive to come back here just for the fries. Maybe the best fries I've ever had? I never think much about the fries anywhere but this was special. I got tomato mayo (I would get again) and chipotle ketchup (good but I would try another sauce next time) -5/5 for food and drink, 6/5 for service because we accidentally broke a beer glass and they were so chill and nice about it, gave us a new one without us asking for anything

Wurstkuche is definitely one of a kind. They have a wonderful variety of sausages displayed when you're ordering from the counter. Their sausage sandwiches are so juicy and full of flavor and taste even better topped with caramelized onions and peppers. When you're seated, you'll find yourself surrounded by an array of mustards and ketchup to elevate your sandwich! Make sure to order their Belgian fries because they are the BEST fries I've ever had. To make them even more rich, I get them glazed in white truffle oil. I always get the small size to share because the portion size is huge. They are crispy on the outside, soft in the inside, and pair so well with their numerous dipping sauces! My favorites are the curry ketchup, chipotle mayo, and bleu cheese walnut + bacon! This is my favorite place to grab a quick, delicious bite with my partner. Highly highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Parking: Easy free street parking in the neighborhoods behind the restaurant. Experience: You order at the entrance closest to Sunset Ct (not by the back patio), they give you a number, then you can go find somewhere to sit. There are long tables inside, or some smaller tables outside on the patio. There's big plastic squeeze bottles of different kinds of mustard which was fun. I got the Kielbasa and my friends got the Bratwurst and Mango Jalapeno, then we got a large fries to share. They also have a large beer selection. I tried the Früli which was a very sweet strawberry beer, perfect for anyone who doesn't actually like beer haha. It was a chill vibe on a Sunday at 6:30pm and it's definitely a good place for groups!

I came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty packed. There was a line out the door (though the entry area to order is pretty tiny, so I think this is kind of expected). I got a Buffalo sausage and a classic bratwurst and a side of fries. I've heard incredible things about the fries and they definitely lived up to expectation! I also got a beer as their menu is pretty extensive and had something I was excited to try. The Buffalo one wasn't super flavorful but the brat was excellent. I ended up sitting outside (the dark hallway getting from where you order to where you eat was a little uh confusing to me haha) and there was so much seating. The various mustards were VERY exciting and I'm so glad I got the fries just so I could test out the mustard. I'd gladly come back here again and I'm so glad that this place really lived up to the hype!

I'd had dinner plans and only planned to stop by for a snack, but one bite of wurstkuche was all I needed to cancel my dinner plans. We tried the duck & bacon with jalapeno bratwurst. It's listed under the "exotic" menu if you're looking for it. The sausage was succulent and flavorful as advertised. The star of the show for me though were the fries. They were a solid thickness--somewhere between a fast food fry and a steak fry, and extremely crispy. Admittedly, they could have used just a tad less salt, but other than that, they were perfect. I could have inhaled those fries in a heartbeat. I'm not one who often craves Bavarian food, but if I'm ever in the mood for a solid brat & fries, Wurstkuche is the spot!!

We ordered the Duck and Bacon sausage ($12.50), Kielbasa sausage ($12.50), the Large Belgian Fries ($8) with added truffle oil glaze (add $2). For the sausages, you get to choose two toppings for free. We chose the caramelized onions and sweet peppers. Both sausages were super flavorful and juicy. We really like both of the sausages, and we've ordered these multiple times now. The fries come with two sauces and we tried the Curry Ketchup and the Pesto Mayo. The pesto mayo is really good, but I wouldn't get the curry ketchup again. There are plenty of different types of mustard on the table so you have lots of options. The large fries come with a lot of fries, which makes it a good deal. The fries are thick, crispy, and fresh. The truffle oil glaze adds another dimension to the flavor of the fries and I would recommend the glaze. Even though we didn't get beer this time, Wurstküche has a huge selection of craft beers and other drinks. There's a lot of inside and outdoor seating. This place has great vibes and would be a good place to come with a group of friends too.
